With an objective to enhance the swimming skills of Bokaro district students, DPS Bokaro is organising a swimming coaching cum selection camp under the supervision of ace expert swimmers at its swimming pool on 28 May.
The selected students will get an opportunity to participate in the Jharkhand State Sub--Junior and Junior Swimming Championship which is going to be organized at Veer Budhu Bhagat Aquatic Stadium Hotwar, Ranchi on 5 June 2022.
Students of 10 and 11 years age have been placed in Sub Junior Group, 12 to 14 years in Junior Group 2 while 15 to 17 years have been kept in Group-1 in the Junior Group section.
The students of all these groups will be selected in freestyle, back stroke, breast stroke, butterfly stroke and freestyle relay race categories, informed A.S. Gangwar, President of Bokaro District Swimming Association. All interested students only from Bokaro district have been asked to report at DPS, Bokaro campus on 28 May at 7 AM along with their birth certificate and Aadhaar card.
