An FIR has been registered against the doctor of a civil hospital for allegedly demanding Rs25,000 for preparing a postmortem report in Bokaro district. On the directive of Bokaro Deputy Commissioner Uma Shankar Singh , Civil Surgeon lodged an FIR at Chas Police Station against Dr Ravi Shakher who allegedly demanded Rs25,000 from Nand Kumar Prasad for preparing a postmortem report of his son who died after burn injuries. Taking a tough stand on the issue, the DC ordered the Civil Surgeon SB Singh to file a case against the doctor.
