Hazaribagh district administration officials on Tuesday adopted 864 villages during village chaupal programme in different  villages in a direct talk programme with the villagers.

The district administration has issued a circular to its officials to adopt a village and to take part in this ambitious program so that the problems and suggestions of villagers could directly reach to the district headquarters.

DC Ravishankar Shukla himself visited the Sarwaha village of Churchu block to take part in the programme and sat with the villagers for more than two hours to know their problems and sought suggestions from the literate and conscious villagers to solve the problems.

Talking with the villagers DC Shukla said that this ambitious programme has been started with the purpose to make a direct link with the villagers and district administration.

He appealed to the conscious denizens of the village to actively take part in the chaupals because you people can play an important role in identifying the real beneficiary of different government schemes. You will have to play an important role in implementation of schemes in your village.

later talking with newsmen Shukla said that this programme will certainly help us in identifying the really needy persons of the villages so that the benefits of different schemes could be availed by them.

It is a common complaint that the persons who are really needy are not getting benefits while those who are getting benefited are not entitled for it.

He hoped that now the officials will make the district headquarters acquainted with the real problems of the village concerned and with the help of conscious denizens benefits can be given to the real needy

persons.
