Ranchi DC held an important meeting on Saturday to discuss preparations to be made for August 15, popularly known as Independence Day.
Chief Minister Hemant Soren will hoist the national flag on the Independence Day.In Saturday’s meeting, it was decided that rehearsal for the parade will take place on each day beginning from August 8 and will culminate on August 13. Ranchi’s Morhabadi ground will be prepared for the day besides making sitting arrangement for people, cleaning mannequins of great people, raising barricades and preparing list of guests to be invited to witness one of the greatest day in the history of the nation.
The meeting was attended by SSP Ranchi Saket Kumar Singh and all senior officials of District administration.
