Jharkhand DGP MV Rao on Friday had an extensive interaction with officials of police stations besides senior officials across districts of Jharkhand where Rao asked officials to improve policing and better law and order control.
The meeting held through video conferencing was called to understand and ascertain problems faced by police station level officials in maintaining law and order.
Rao who invited suggestions said that state police are determined to improve infrastructure and logistic supports to the police down to thana level.
Rao cautioned that police officials need to give utmost priority to endure quick justice to women victims. He also said that the government will not tolerate any kind of laxity.
Sources in the police said that some of the PS in-charge raised the issue of poor infrastructure at their police station. To this Rao said that he will seek reports from SP of the concerned district.
Sources added that the DGP directed thana level officials for quick disposal of cases besides regular patrolling.
