Chief Minister Hemant Soren said on Tuesday that the activities of the Government will pick up pace in the coming year. Talking to mediapersons in Sahebganj on the last day of his Santhal Pargana tour the CM said that development works will be given a push as the work-plan for the same has been prepared.

“On December 29, the government is completing one year. On this occasion, many schemes will be gifted to the public. Issues related to public interest are the top priority of the government. Instructions have been given to the authorities to avoid any kind of lethargy in it,” he said.

The CM said that the year 2020 was full of turmoil for the whole world. “Systems were stalled due to the Coronavirus epidemic. Growth stalled. Jharkhand was also not untouched by this. But, even in this era of global epidemic, the government continued to work for the employment of the people while keeping their lives safe. Now, we are slowly recovering from the era of Corona. The government has stepped up efforts to speed up development with normalisation of life,” he said.

The Chief Minister said that the problem of the people or the bottlenecks in development, will be solved by all. The system is being repaired, which is struggling with the Corona crisis. The CM said that this government will fulfil the expectations of the people.

On this occasion, hundreds of people from different areas of the district informed the Chief Minister about their problems. They submitted details of their problems in written applications. The CM told people that appropriate action will be taken to solve their problems.

Earlier, on Monday the CM had announced that the government is making work-plan to provide employment to large number of youths. By March 2021 about 10 to 15 thousand youths will get employment in the State, he had said.

“Apart from this, an action plan is also being made to connect people with self-employment. Creation of maximum employment is one of the special priorities of the government. For this, instructions have been given to officers to explore employment opportunities in every field,” he added.
