Deputy Mayor of Ranchi Municipal Corporation (RMC) Sanjeev Vijayvargiya assured that he will play a vital role in bridging gap between the municipal body and Federation of Chamber of Commerce & Industries (FJCCI). Deputy Mayor on Sunday exercised his franchise in the FJCCI elections.
The Deputy Mayor pinned his hope on the new team of the FJCCI and said, “All candidates are known to work in the interest of the traders so the next team will definitely work in the interest of the businessmen of the State.”
Although Vijyavargiya sought to downplay differences between the FJCCI and the RMC, both the bodies have been at loggerheads on the map of the Chamber Bhawan, office of the apex trade body. The Deputy Mayor assured he will cooperate with the chamber if the officials come through proper channels.
“I will extend my cooperation to the chamber but they need to follow rules for getting their building maps approved. We can’t circumvent law,” maintained Vijayvargiya. Deputy Mayor also added, FJCCI had their reservations on the parking place outside the Chamber Bhawan which has been addressed.
