A rickshaw-puller lost his life for demanding more vegetables at a Dal Bhat Centre in Palamau while having his lunch on Friday afternoon. Dilip Kumar, the rikshaw-puller was hit with a serving spoon by the operator's son on his head. Dilip died on his way to the hospital dueto excessive bleeding
"According to the reports, Dilip Kumar, a rikshaw puller, had gone to take lunch at the Rotary School Centre of Dal Bhat Kendra where he demanded more vegetable. Irritated over the repeated demands operator's son Bablu hit his head with a
serving spoon," said officer in charge of Daltonganj Police station M Thakur.
Bablu went underground after the incident while his father, operator of the centre has been detained by the police. A complaint under
Section 304 of IPC has been lodged against Bablu. Police are said not to have traced any next to kin yet.
