DDC Ravindra Prasad Singh has finally ordered the quality-control test of materials being used in the beautification work of Hazaribagh lake area. He has also ordered to stop the work till the report on material comes from the laboratory.
The beautification of Hazaribagh lake has been going from last four-five years. It has always been in the limelight because of the controversial decisions taken in its initial stages and when the actual work started on ground, the general people and political parties wrote to district administration to intervene and alleged that the contractor is using materials of inferior quality.
A few days ago DDC Ravindra Prasad Singh visited the sites with other officials and engineers to check the allegation. He found that the allegations are correct, so he immediately ordered the contractor to stop the work and recommended the test of used materials so that it can be established whether the complaints are right or wrong technically.
