As a part of the nutrition campaign, Ranchi Deputy Commissioner (DC) launched the ‘Poshan Ranchi App’ in the State capital on Wednesday. With the launch of this app information about Malnutrition Treatment Centre (MTCs) in the Ranchi district will now be available in just one click.
The app will help improve the malnourished child care system and also ease the reporting system at the Malnutrition Treatment Centre. District Social Welfare Officer, DRCHO, Anany Seth and ANMs of various blocks were present on the occasion.
“Reports about four Malnutrition Treatment Centres- Mandar, Bero, Bundu and Doranda will be available through this app. Information about admission to MTC, daily follow- up, real time data, available beds and online presence of ANM will be there. After treatment at the centre, the patient will be monitored for six months while data on other health standards will also be uploaded on the app,” said Ranjan.
Consultants at the district headquarter level, Social Welfare Officer, Ranchi, data manager, ANM, and MOIC in each block will monitor the app. This app has been developed by iOTAS Solutions Private Limited.
