DC gives success mantra to bank officials

PNS

Be professional, give your best to the customers and keep your branches clean, organised and attractive to compete with the nationalised banks. This success mantra was given to the officials of central co-operative banks of old Hazaribagh district by Deputy Commissioner Sunil Kumar in the review meeting held in his chamber.

DC Sunil Kumar reviewed the financial status of every branch of central co-operative banks and instructed the officials to take strong steps to get back the loan amount. He asked to lodge certificate cases against huge loaners and to start proceedings of arresting, seizure of property etc. against old certificate case loaners. The officials informed Deputy Commissioner that there are 15 branches of central co-operative banks spread in Hazaribagh, Koderma, Chatra and Ramgrah districts. All branches are computerised and last year their collective deposit was Rs 8.20 crores. This year the central co-operative banks had been given a target of distributing 4200 Kisan Credit Cards.

DC Sunil Kumar directed to achieve the target of KCC and to widely publicise the schemes of the bank. He said that on fixed deposit you are giving 9.25% interest which is more than any nationalised bank which will certainly bring you on the level of other banks. He advised the officials to campaign in school, colleges, business organisations, block and other offices, institutions etc. and attract the customers. The director of Central Cooperative Bank, Hazaribagh, Chandradev Ranjan was present along with all the 15 branch managers.
