A review meet was called by DC Sudhanshu Bhushan Barwar at Nandgaon of Senha block. In the meet a review was taken on the several plans like MGNREGA, MlA Fund, drinking water, electricity. He also took stock of the situations of the several schemes implemented through district engineers.
DC Barwar asked about the Small Rural Pipe Water Supply to the executive engineer of Drinking Water and Sanitation Department. The executive engineer Shashi Bhushan Puran told that the district was given the target of 93 mini water supplies projects. DC directed the BDOs of lohardaga and Senha to verify these schemes and to give the report. Electricity department was also reviewed. The executive engineer was instructed to replace transformers that are out of order within two days. The engineer told that the district need 15 MW of electricity and 8 MW has to be provided to latehar district by power grid. In the meet DC expressed his dissatisfaction for completing the work of only eight anganwadies out of 10.
