Chief Secretary RS Sharma on Monday stressed on increasing production of lac by involving more farmers of the state. He wanted preparation of a matrix based on essential inputs, technology required, insurance plan, host plant, institutions to be involved and the time required for implementation of this process.
The Chief Secretary was speaking at a review meeting of Co-operative Department held at the Project Building.
Chief Secretary focused on the big ticket areas of employment opportunities through lac and cashew nut cultivation, tasar production, animal husbandry, horticulture and poultry.
Chief Secretary said that internet banking facility should be introduced in the Jharkhand State Co-operative Bank (JSCB).
The Co-operative Bank should delivery of excellent services using modern technologies. There is a need to reorient the organization by changing the work culture. He said that the bank accounts customers should be linked to their Aadhar card.
