A group of armed criminals slit the throats of one trainer of Jamua referral hospital in Giridih under the jamua police station late night on Tuesday-Wednesday .The deceased has been identified as Ritlal Prasad Verma .The incident took place during the midnight. No evidence have been recovered so far .Nor even the scared villagers are ready to speak about the incident, said officer –in charge Kedar Nath Prasad.
According to police sources said that the incident took place at official residence of Jamua Referral hospital in the midnight. while some unidentified armed criminals with traditional weapons reached referral hospital on Tuesday night and could forcibly entered Ritlal Prasad Verma’s house and beheaded him. No any Maoist group has claimed responsibility for the attack till the time of filling of this reports ,informed Officer-in charge .
Following the incident, police officials rushed to the spot and carried out massive search operation in and around the area just after the incident the jamua surrounding it. To ascertain the motive behind the attack and the identities of the attackers, a case has been registered by Jamua police station, he added
Protesting Verma, s killing, irate locals blocked the Jamua-Giridih main road for some time by keeping the body in front of Jamua police post ,they also protested failure of the police in providing them security at the residential colony of the hospital
