Cracks in RJD in Palamu as Chandravanshi quits

PNS

The Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) in Palamu got a severe jolt when its two time MlAs and at present a former MlA one Ramchander Chandravanshi quit his primary membership of the RJD squarely blaming the RJD chief lalu Prasad of not giving ‘maan samman’ to him.

Speaking to The Pioneer Chandravanshi said, “lalu Prasad asks me to see Annapurna Devi for any party or political matter but my stature, age, experience restrict me from falling so low”. He said he was feeling suffocative in the party. To a question as to which party he would take political shelter he said in the same hackneyed tone ‘Not decided as yet’. Chandravanshi had represented Vishrampur twice as MlA and is taken as bete noir of the veteran Dadai Dubey who is at the nadir of his political career.

In the lok Sabha election  when Manoj Kumar of RJD in Palamu lost to BJP’s V D Ram by a margin of more than 2.62 lakhs of votes there was a popular opinion the house of RJD in Palamu would crumble. Chandravanshi exited RJD with his numerous party workers.Chandravanshi cursed politically RJD State chief Girinath Singh who lives in his neighbour constituency Garhwa as Vishrampur and Garhwa Assembly segments almost over lap each other. “This man politically tortured me,” he said thrice and with great scorn and contempt.
