In order to accelerate the COVID-19 vaccination campaign, BSL has procured 10,000 doses of Covishield vaccine for its personnel, contract workers and their dependents. This campaign of vaccination was started in the presence of Executive Director (Works) Atanu Bhowmik , Executive Director (P & A) Sameer Swarup and CGM (Personnel) Pawan Kumar .
Under this campaign, BSL personnel and contract workers working in the plant are being vaccinated in the machine shop canteen premises of BSL, while arrangements have been made for the non-working division personnel and all dependents at the Human Resource Development Center. In the campaign, the first dose of Covishield vaccine is being given to BSL personnel, contract workers and their dependents in the age group of 18 to 44 and above the age group of 45 years.
Employees of BPSCL, FSNL, SRU, MECON, CET and RDCIS and contract workers are also participating in this campaign.
On the first day of the campaign, a lot of enthusiasm was seen among BSL personnel and contract workers towards vaccination. It is mandatory for all to carry their gate pass or ID card issued by the company and Aadhar card along with them to get vaccinated in the camp. The vaccination program will continue for 10 days.
