Ranchi Deputy Commissioner (DC) Chhavi Ranjan held a meeting with representatives of all private hospitals in view of the rising infection of Covid-19 on Sunday. During this, he gave many important guidelines to the hospital operators.
Representatives of renowned hospitals like Medica, Raj Hospital, Medanta and others along with the Additional Collector, Executive Magistrates and senior officials of various departments of the district administration were present in this meeting held in the collectorate auditorium.
Ranjan has directed all private hospitals to ensure compliance of the protocol of Covid-19 issued by the State Government from time to time. He also said that he will take the amount from the patient only on the basis of the fee fixed by the State Government. Different charges have been set for Mild, Severe and Very Severe Patients.
In this meeting Ranjan directed private hospitals to update the status of Covid positive patients through the Suvidha app. He asked to update the report of the discharged patient continuously. All hospitals will also keep complete updates of their logistics such as PPE kits, ventilators, oxygen cylinders and others so that they can be used as required.
