Chairman & Managing Director of Corporation Bank SR Bansal is scheduled to visit Ranchi on April 11. Bansal will be inaugurating renovated premises of Ranchi Branch & new onsite ATM and also will address the local staff of the Ranchi apart from his other official engagements.
The Bank recently celebrated its 109th Foundation Day on March 12. On the occasion, Shri Bansal announced to open 109 branches & 109 ATMs of the Bank, launched “e-Passbook” & “Corp Global Card - a Pre-paid Forex Travel Card” and carried out CSR activities for the underprivileged.
The Patna Zone of Corporation Bank comprises two States, viz., Bihar & Jharkhand. The Bank has a network of 41 Branches & 32 ATMs and has a business of over Rs. 2,100 crore in the Zone. The Bank as a whole has 2021 branches and 2264 ATMs across the country. The Bank has crossed a major milestone by surpassing total business of Rs.3 lakh crore and entered the league of big Banks.
Recently, Corporation Bank has bagged first & second prize under National Award for Excellence in MSE lending and lending to Micro Enterprises, respectively for the year 2012-13, by the National Committee under the Ministry of MSME. The Bank has also bagged SKOCH Achiever Award for outstanding performance in SME Enablement during 2014. One of the highly technology-driven Banks offering a host of tech-savvy products & services, the Bank has won the IBA Banking Technology Award 2012-13 for “Best Use of Mobility Technology in Banking”.
