The Dhanbad district administration stepped up corona testing with rise in corona positive case from coal capital.
On the New Year day (January 1), 113 positive cases were found during tests conducted by mobile testing van.
Deputy commissioner Sandeep Singh directed health officials to intensify tests and contact tracing so that the number of affected persons can be identified.
In view of district administration directives, contact tracing has been intensified at CISF camp where 10 positive cases were found on Saturday. Besides, other locations where the number of affected is high also the initiative was taken.
DC said all directives issues by health department for contact tracing and tests are to be taken up so that positive cases may be identified and managed properly.
At same time steps for vaccination for 15 to 18 years old persons also is to be taken up in district .
According to available data projected population of 195443 that fall in aforementioned age bracket is to be vaccinated in Dhanbad district.
