A Congress team led by party secretary SRA Rizwi Chabban on Monday met DC and demanded that several primary school teachers posted in Naxal-affected areas of Dumaria should be transferred. He said that there several teachers who are posted in the area for over 12 years.
He went on to add that teachers have submitted applications to the authorities of the primary education board seeking transfer out of the Maoist-affected zone but step has been taken so far. He said that the teachers have to take jungle paths to reach their schools.
