The State BJP Spokesperson Pratul Shahdeo said on Wednesday that the State’s Congress party leaders are demeaning the stature of Supreme Court. “As SC pronounced its verdict in Rafale deal and said it as pro-national after that any statement given by Congress leaders falls under contempt of court.”
Shahdeo said that the leaders have alleged that 30 per cent commission was given on the deal. “This is saying by their habits as the Congress leaders have records of commission in the pasts. The Finance Minister had already said that the Central government has purchased the jets nine per cent less than the UPA government. If we talk about fighter jets than the present government has purchased it 20 per cent less than its predecessors,” he added.
He said, “This is not first example of Congress to malign the stature of the SC. During the tenure of Late Indira Gandhi they had recommended a junior person as the SC judge by superseding three persons.”
After clear verdict of the Apex Court it clearly exhibits that the Congress party has no faith in constitution and court, he added.
