'Cong win will boost morale of party workers'

PNS

Senior Congress leader SRA Rizwi Chabban on Tuesday said that the overwhelming victory of the Congress in the recent by-elections will boost the morale of the party workers in Jharkhand and will play an important role to unite them.

He said that the party workers must draw lessons and must unite to trounce the BJP in the upcoming Assembly elections in the State. Chabban said that the party’s morale will be up after wresting a total of six seats from the BJP in Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s home turf Gujarat and Rajasthan,  also BJP-ruled, and retaining one seat in Assam.

He accused the BJP of promoting crime and corruption in the State and said that the voters must teach the party a lesson. “It is important to work with utmost commitment to live up to the expectations of the people of Jharkhand. It is time the party must wake up,” he noted, lamenting over current state of affairs.

“I am of the opinion that the people have voted against Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He has done nothing but only made the people daydream. I would also request the voters of Jharkhand to vote against the communal forces,” the State Congress secretary said.
