Cong trying to get votes by frightening people: CP Singh

PNS

Housing and Urban Development Minister CP Singh lashed out at Congress party today and said that the party mentioned in its manifesto that it will remove 124(A), of Indian Penal Code, which defines charges against sedition, because the party has soft corner with the extremists and it is trying to get votes on the basis of fear of extremists.

Addressing a press meet at the party headquarter here on Saturday, Singh said that the Congress party has a good rapport with the separatists and left wing extremists and on the basis of them the party has chalked out strategy to frighten the voters to get their votes on the basis of fear in the upcoming general elections.

Mentioning the name of a hardcore extremist and area commander of Tritiya Prastuti Committee (TPC) resident of Hurnali village under Simaria police station in Chatra district, Niraj Ganjhu alias Niraj Bhokta son of Punit Ganjhu alias Punit Bhokta, Singh said that Ganjhu is facing various criminal charges including Murder and Extortion and at present he is on bail.

“Ganjhu has good rapport with the Congress party leaders and he is trying to get the party tickets from Kankey State Assembly seats in the upcoming State Assembly Elections. Ganjhu is in touch with various senior leader of the Congress party including former Union Minister, Subodhkant Sahai, State Congress Chief, Ajoy Kumar and Congress Legislature Party leader Alam Gir Alam. TPC has good hold in Chatra and Hazaribagh districts.”

Singh also showed photos of Ganjhu with Ajoy Kumar and Alamgir Alam in support of his allegation. Criticising the Congress Party on the occasion, Singh said that waving National flag of Pakistan at the time of nomination programme of the party’s National president Rahul Gandhi’s in Wayanad constituency shows that how much the party has soft corners with the extremist. “But it is not good for the Country. A person can’t wave flag of enemy’s country in India,” he added.
