Congress leader SRA Rizwi Chabban has lashed out at the Union Government for targeting former PM Manmohan Singh in coal scam. He said that Singh’s honesty will be established by the nation's legal process.
" Manmohan Singh, a man known for his integrity throughout the world, will come out clean. His character and honesty will be established by the legal process. Modi Government is targeting the former PM for vested interests. Rather than fulfilling promises the Government is working on personal rivalry,” said the senior leader.
On Wednesday, a special court in Delhi summoned the former prime minister among others in the coal blocks allocation case. The Congress leader said that rather than focusing on development Modi Government is targeting Congress leaders to wane away from other burning issues of the country.
