Senior Congress leader SRA Rizwi Chabban has said that Bharatiya Janata Party has been revealed communal face at its Goa meet by handing over the command of party’s 2014 lok Sabha elections campaign to Gujarat chief minister Narendra Modi. He noted that it is really unfortunate that the leader responsible for the Gujarat riots has been given the reigns of the elections.

“The BJP is known for playing with the sentiments of the people on communal ground and the elevation of Narendra Modi is a glaring example. People still associate Narendra Modi with the 2002 Gujarat riots. The dream to return to power in Centre will never get fulfilled,” he noted.

Taking a dig over the resignation of l K Advani, the State Congress secretary said that the ‘party with a difference’ has turned into party with differences. He went on to add that the internal feud within the Bharatiya Janata Party has come out in the open, and it has unveiled its communal face once again.
