MGNREGA Commissioner Rajeshwari B held a virtual meeting with the Deputy Development Commissioners of all the districts for the successful implementation of the schemes operated under MGNREGA, to complete the schemes on time and to provide direct benefits to the villagers. She took district-wise information about the ongoing schemes and instructed to bring necessary progress in major schemes of MGNREGA such as Birsa Green Village Scheme, Veer Shaheed Poto Ho Development Scheme, Anganwadi Schemes, so that maximum employment is created and the schemes are implemented on a large scale. She said that site inspection of the schemes would also be done.
In the meeting, instructions were given by the MGNREGA commissioner to complete all the pending schemes under MGNREGA. Along with this, Rajeshwari B also directed necessary progress in creation of man-days under MGNREGA. She asked all DDCs to bring progress in the creation of Manav Divas.
During the meeting, MGNREGA Commissioner Rajeshwari B informed about the work progress of ongoing schemes under MGNREGA. While reviewing the MNREGA scheme district-wise, the MGNREGA commissioner directed to bring necessary progress in the districts where progress is slow. Special focus should be given on Birsa Harit Gram Yojana, Didi Bari Yojana etc. The MGNREGA commissioner said that the maximum number of schemes should be selected and the maximum number of schemes should also be completed.
During the review of MGNREGA work by MGNREGA Commissioner Rajeshwari B, the plans for the financial year 2019-20 were also reviewed. Taking information about the pending schemes, an action plan was prepared and all the Deputy Development Commissioners were instructed to complete them without delay.
The MGNREGA Commissioner directed all the Deputy Development Commissioners to achieve targeted progress while discussing point-by-point regarding the various works being done under the MGNREGA scheme. Also gave necessary instructions regarding the geo tagging process in development related works. During this, on the basis of priority, instructions were given to seed the MGNREGA workers by February.
Sandeep Dubey, Assistant Director Panchayati Raj and others were involved in the video conferencing held under the chairmanship of MGNREGA Commissioner Rajeshwari with all the Deputy Development Commissioners of the state regarding the review meeting of the progress of the MGNREGA scheme.
