Chief Minister Hemant Soren in a meeting with Minority Affairs Minister Haji Hussain Ansari on Monday discussed the hurdles coming in to release grants to educational institutions for minority and Madarsas and ways to remove those.
Representatives of minority community were also present in the meeting. The Minister drew the attention of the CM towards certain provisions those have been preventing the grants to be released. He also forwarded the provisions identified to Hemant Soren for his action that have to be amended before the release.
The step was taken after the instruction come from the CM in this regard. The CM had expressed his desire to remove all the issues in releasing the funds meant for minorities ahead of Statehood Day, i.e. November 15.
