Chief Minister Hemant Soren today handed over appointment letters to 49 newly selected trainee officers in the appointment letter distribution ceremony organised by the Department of Labour, Training, Planning and Skill Development in the Jharkhand Ministry. In his address, the CM said that this caravan of appointments will keep growing. Our government is committed to take the state to new heights by connecting the youth with employment.

Wishing the newly selected officers, the CM said that from today you are starting a new journey full of responsibilities as an integral part of the government. I am confident that by giving training, you will hone the skills of the youth in such a way that they will not have to face difficulties for employment. They will get plenty of employment opportunities. Due to their skills and ability, they will work with respect and pride in the country and abroad and bring forward the name of their family and state.

The CM said that during the field visit, the students of polytechnic institutes had met him several times and informed him about the problems being faced regarding studies and training. Taking this into consideration, work is underway to strengthen and resource-rich ITI institutes. In this series, trainee officers have been appointed to ensure better arrangements for studies and training in ITI institutes. This is a part of our efforts and many more links will be added to it in the coming days. Our effort is to remove the worries of the youth about employment in a backward state like Jharkhand.

The CM said that there is no price for skill. Skill is priceless. If you have skill, you do not need to run for employment. Employment will come to your doorstep itself, because everyone wants to keep a skilled person with them. This is the reason why our government is taking several steps for skill development of the youth of the state. Now special emphasis is being laid on technology for the training of youth, because only through technology will today's youth be able to move forward.

The CM said that today technologies are changing rapidly. State-of-the-art machines are being used in the industrial world. The work of labourers is also being done through machines. In such a situation, if you do not improve your skills according to the time, then you will be left far behind the times. Getting employment will become a big challenge for you. Our effort is that you get training through new technologies so that the doors of employment are always open for you.

The CM said that today Artificial Intelligence is becoming an important part of our life. Technology has advanced a lot through Artificial Intelligence. Today, be it agriculture or industry or any other sector - the use of Artificial Intelligence is increasing everywhere. Now you cannot keep yourself away from Artificial Intelligence. In such a situation, our youth should move forward in the field of Artificial Intelligence, for this it needs to be included in the curriculum of ITI institutes. He also emphasized on conducting courses to provide training for repairing electric vehicles.

The CM said that the government is committed to the skill development of the youth. The youth of rural areas are now being given skill development training at the block level itself. They are also being given incentives to get training. I request the youth to come to the Skill Development Training Centre and make them skilled. Your skills will give a new direction to your career.

The CM said that we are trying to create such a system in the state, where by giving skill development training to the youth, not only are we connecting them to employment, but efforts are also being made to hone their skills in such a way that they can come forward as entrepreneurs and establish their own startup. With this, not only will they get employment, but they will also be successful in providing employment to other people.

The CM said that our government is working for the employment of the youth along with their skill development. Last year, more than 50 thousand youth were provided respectable employment in institutions in the country and abroad through campus placement and employment fair and many other means. He emphasized that the state cannot move forward on the strength of a single person. The all-round development of a state like Jharkhand is possible with the participation of all.

On this occasion, Labour Minister Sanjay Prasad Yadav, Chief Secretary Alka Tiwari, Additional Chief Secretary to the Chief Minister Avinash Kumar, Secretary of Labour Department Jitendra Kumar Singh, Labour Commissioner Sanjeev Kumar Besra and many other officers were present.
