Chief Minister Hemant Soren on Monday met Prime Minister Manmohan Singh at 7 Race Course Road and discussed many issues.
The CM requested the PM to push for sanctioning Rs 3,950 crore for Financial Restructuring Plan of Jharkhand State Electricity Board. This was Soren’s first meeting with the PM after the former took oath of the office of CM.
The meeting was half an hour long. The CM appealed for giving special economic package to Jharkhand. He also requested the PM to sanction pending railways, national high ways and other projects.
