PNS

Chief Minister Hemant Soren today said that keeping in view the way RIMS is working in Ranchi, another new medical college will be established in Ranchi, where efforts will be made to provide world class health facilities. The CM said that it is very important to increase the number of doctors. Until their number does not increase, it will not be right to be relaxed about health facilities. He said that the Central Government should give responsibility to the State Government by making better coordination for providing facilities in the health sector. Because considering the geographical structure of Jharkhand, the state government will be able to give real direction to the health facilities by better assessing the needs here.

The state government will decide where there should be a medical college and where it should not, how it should be run. But this is not happening. The CM said that as the pressure is increasing in Ranchi for facilities, work is being done for this through various institutions, but the government is not just dependent on this. That's why we have decided that another medical college will be built here so that people can get facilities. Soren was addressing people during the inauguration of various schemes including the flagging off of 206 ambulances and distribution of appointment letters to 38 newly appointed dentists, organized by the Department of Health, Medical Education and Family Welfare at Namkum Auditorium.

Soren said that the government has been working day and night for many years to see how better health services can be made available to the people. At present, the way there are challenges all over the world regarding the health of the people, in such a situation, can you imagine how important is the health facility for a backward state like Jharkhand? No one had seen Corona, in the blink of an eye it engulfed the whole world. Jharkhand was also not untouched by this. I believe that health facilities should be available equally and from a perspective to every class, rich and poor. It is the duty of the state government to see everyone in one eye. He said that along with awareness, awareness and sensitivity for better health care, it is very important to pay attention to how the entire system works.

The CM said that most of the people in Jharkhand live in villages. We should also decide how to provide ambulance facility to the people of the village, how to check their health, for this a time has to be fixed that on which day the ambulance vehicle is camping at which place in the village, so that the villagers can take advantage of health facilities by being present there after completing their work. An action plan should be made in this direction and health facilities should be provided. He said that medicines get expired in hospitals. If people do not get the medicine, then it will expire. The need is that medicines should be available to the needy on time.

He said that this is the reason why it has been decided to open medicine shops at the panchayat level, and efforts will be made to restore the facility of pharmacy shops not only in panchayats but also in every village, so that educated youth can be linked with self-employment. Jharkhand is the first state in the country where the state government is providing air ambulance at a cheap rate for the common citizens. This facility will be provided not only to elite people but also to BPL families, if they need an air ambulance.

On this occasion, the CM gave hearty congratulations and best wishes to the newly appointed dentists present on his behalf. He urged all the newly appointed doctors to discharge their responsibilities with the spirit of public service. Wherever you are posted, try to give your 100 per cent. You are an integral part of the state government. The state government takes care of your every facility, you also take care of the needy people. All of you doctors will play an important role in realizing the dream of healthy Jharkhand and prosperous Jharkhand.
