Akin to Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s surprise knock to his Pakistani counterpart Nawaz Sharif’s door in Karachi, lesser known Birhors of Dohgahu in Ramgarh district also got a surprise guest.
At the strike of the day on Friday the primitive tribes of the village got an opportunity to celebrate their beloved leader and former PM Atal Bihari Vajpayee’s birth anniversary with none other than Chief Minister Raghubar Das.

“The Government is taking special measures this time for the primitive tribes and the upcoming budget would see this. It would be true respect to Atalji who has been a sign of humility for all of us. It was his dream to reach the last person through development. Our Government is also working in that direction where the goal is to develop every village, every poor,” said the CM on the occasion and also shared hardship faced by village girls and encouraged them to continue with their studies.
The CM also stressed on overall development of rural areas which would be a prerogative for development of the State. “Goal of our Government is to incorporate every stakeholder on the way of development. locals should participate in the Plan making exercise. We are ensuring sufficient fund to every panchayat and the Government would sit with locals for Plan formulation,” he added, reiterating the Prime Minister’s dream to provide shelter to all by 2022.
The CM said that next budget of the State would be prepared keeping in mind villagers, poor and farmers with their participation and contribution. Steps have been taken to eliminate middlemen from the system that were considered as the biggest roadblock in the way of growth. Raghubar Das counted on more potent Anti-Corruption Bureau and action taken against corrupt officials.
“People of village, farmers and tribals of Jharkhand are very simple in nature but very hardworking at the same time. The State is also blessed with abundant natural resources. Both of this can be linked in a positive way where the people can get employment with dignity and the State can step ahead on the path of development,” said the CM.
