Chief Minister Raghubar Das said that the State Government is committed to provide banking facility to all the people of the state.
In far rural areas, people are attracted to banking services through hand held device for D.B.T. (Direct Benefit Transfer).
He laid stress on connecting maximum people with banking services so that they can become self reliant. He said it while talking to the delegates of Axis Bank in his office chamber at Project Building.
The Branch Head, East Zone, Axis Bank Sunil Guruwakshani told the CM that 36 branches of the bank are operating in the state which has given a loan of Rs. 1500 crores to the people.
Circle Head of Axis Bank, Bihar and Jharkhand Rajesh Kr. Jha & Cluster Head Satish Kumar were present on the occasion.
