The state government, the tribal people of Jharkhand and the poor people are going to move towards a historic step. This is the first step after the separation of the state, when the state government is moving forward in that direction to enable the people of the state to live with dignity and rights. In this context, the state government's Abua Housing Scheme is being launched from here. Today, under the Abua Housing Scheme, people are being given the benefits of the scheme. In the past too, I came among you and informed you about the schemes of the government. At different times officials have visited your doorstep and tried to solve your problems,” said Chief Minister Hemant Soren at the acceptance letter distribution ceremony organized under Abua Awas Yojana at NHPC Ground in Torpa, Khunti.
The CM said that the beneficiaries of Khunti and Simdega should now move forward in the direction of Abua housing construction. About 75 thousand Abua houses will be constructed in different phases in Khunti and Simdega.
The CM said that the state government had provided the list of housing to the poor to the central government. In this, a request was made to provide housing to eight lakh people. Its list was also uploaded in the portal. But the central government did not approve housing for the poor. Therefore, the state government will build Abua Awas on its own. This will be a permanent residence with three rooms and a kitchen. Earlier, two room houses were constructed under PM Awas Yojana, for which Rs 1 lakh 30 thousand were given.
The State government is giving Rs 02 lakh for the construction of Abua house. Around 30 lakh applications were received during the Aapki Yojana Aapki Sarkar Aapke Dwar program. The government will increase construction of houses from eight lakh to 20 lakh. The government will provide better housing than before.

The CM said that after the formation of the government, Corona infection stopped the pace of development. Due to this, the economic condition of the economy and people was not good. Despite this, your government secured both the lives and livelihood of the people here. Pension for all was ensured by ending the earlier number restriction. Today pension is being given to all the needy. Now the pension age limit of ST, SC and women of all categories is being reduced to 50 years. The government will work towards implementing it soon. They will also be informed about the status of the application through mobile. Talking about farmer brothers and sisters, in the last 20 years after the formation of the state, only eight lakh farmers were covered with KCC whereas in the last four years, 20 lakh farmers have been covered with KCC.
