CM Raghubar Das gave tips of better governance during his interaction with booth level party workers of East Jamshedpur Assembly area during a picnic at Dimna Lake on Sunday.
Das asked party workers to ensure that Government schemes are implemented efficiently.
He also directed BJP workers to give feedback about the implementations of the welfare schemes meant for the poor.
Das reiterated that the Government is dedicated towards development of state with special focus on rural areas. He said that the priority of the government is to ensure that people reap the benefits of various welfare schemes.
He said, “The government would work efficiently in bringing speedy development, providing basic amenities and improving policing. Ensuring corruption free governance is our foremost priority.”
While interacting with the workers he also motivated them to get ready for the next election. Das deliberated minutely on issues pertaining to the strengthening of the booth committees.
Chief Minister participated in BJP's Jamshedpur ( East) unit picnic amidst enthusiasm. Over 5,000 picknickers, including women and children participated in the picnic with CM amidst high security arrangements. Several cultural programmes were organized at the occasion and the CM was also seen having a good time while dancing on the tunes of Nagpuri songs.
The picnic also gave an opportunity to aggrieved people to approach the CM with their problems, most related to litigation of property.
In view of arrival of the CM several measures were taken to improve the security arrangements in the area. While the Chief Minister was busy meeting people at the feast, armed police men were deployed at strategic position all along Dimna Chowk to the picnic spot, a stretch of over two kilometres.
There were separate enclosures for the men and women, and separate enclosures for the vegetarians and non-vegetarians diners.
According to a senior police officer, the special security arrangement by the district police will remain effective till January 26, the period during which the people, especially the picnickers visit Dimna.
“The idea is to keep check on rash driving and prevent miscreants from harassing the revellers on the street and near the parks,” said Anoop Birtharay, senior superintendent of police, Jamshedpur.
The police will also act tough with people found drunk driving and with hoodwinks vehicles using police and press stickers.
