As World Tribal Day is set to be observed on Monday; the Jharkhand Government has planned to distribute Kisan Credit Cards and livestock among farmers under Chief Minister's Livestock Distribution Programme.
Chief Minister Hemant Soren and Agriculture Minister Badal will distribute the Kisan Credit Card and livestock among farmers.
Agriculture secretary Abu Bakr Siddique informed that the programme will be organised at the Project Building and the Chief Minister will also participate with farmers of Dumka and Bokaro. The secretary informed that the programme will be held through virtual mode for which about 100 farmers have been invited. He said that at district and block level farmers will be connected to watch live streams of this programme. The agriculture secretary informed that under the Chief Minister's Livestock Distribution Programme 62,646 beneficiaries will get livestock.
