Diwali fervour is in the air and to make this celebration more special, city’s clubs and restaurants have organised special programmes and providing offers to bring smile on the face of their customers.
Some of city’s renowned hotels are providing a lucrative discount of 25 per cent on their food items this Diwali, while some are providing complementary food along with discount.
Manager of Hotel Accord, Prakash Khanderwal said, “This diwali we have planned to present the ordered foods on the Diwali theme. The rice presentation will be in the shape of diyas, different crackers, while chapattis will be in the shape of aanar, firkin (types of crackers). The vegetables will be served in the containers which are in the shape of different crackers. Moreover, for the guests who are availing our accommodation service will also get a discount of 10 per cent in their bill.”
According to owner of Capitol Hill Kush Bhatia, this diwali some new recipes are being added in the menu. Banana coconut fritters (starter), Rose coconut cooler (beverage), Pasta curry are some of them.
Meanwhile Ranchi club has organized a diwali fest to make it unique this year. In this fest along with crackers bursting there are array of programmers for the members and visitors. While other clubs such as Gymkhana club and Club Mahindra Holidays have already completed their programmes.
Director of the Club Nirmal Roy said, “This Diwali we have organized array of games, housie, tambola, cards game are some of them. Fancy dress completion, dance and painting completion are organized for the adolescent visitors.”
According to Roy every year the organize Diwali fest on bigger platform but due to recession, this year we celebrate it in simple form.
