A team of assessors rushed at Bokaro for on-site assessment of the entry of Bokaro Steel Plant for the prestigious CII-EXIM Bank Business Excellence Award.
The team – consisting of B N N Prasad MFX Consultancy, Dr Sripathi Kumar from Maysore, Ausaf Ahmad NTPC New Delhi, Vikas Arora form TATA Power New Delhi, Saroj Khuntia Exim Bank Mumbai, Amrendra Chakarborty Kolkata and KN Babu from Kirloskar Brothers are carrying out the assessment comprising site visits and interaction with various team heads on the assessment criteria. The team will leave Bokaro on 28 September, said BSl official.
“These awards employ one of the most rigorous and recognised systems of evaluating business excellence. As the premier industry association of India, CII is the apt agency for instituting such an award for the domestic industry and businesses”, added the official.
“A large number of corporates apply for this award, and the assessment team conducts site visit for only those applicants who score a certain minimum of marks on the basis of the application document”, official said.
