In a meeting with Chief Secretary Rajbala Verma, Consulate-General of the People’s Republic of China in Kolkata Ma Zhanwu expressed his country’s wishes to contribute in the developing fundamental amenities in Jharkhand.
China is interested in supporting infrastructure development in Jharkhand and promote cultural and linguistic exchange between the State and global superpower, Zhanwu mentioned during the meeting at Project Building secretariat on Monday. During the course of discussion, he also expressed his intentions to lend a helping hand in developing Smart Cities.
Explaining the career opportunities China has on offer for Indian proficient in Chinese languages, Zhanwu suggested that a training centre teaching the tongues to youth in Jharkhand.
The Chief Secretary elaborated the measures being taken by Jharkhand Government for promoting industrial growth in State at various levels.
The Chinese delegation applauded the endeavours being made in the field of information technology and industry.
