Chief Minister Raghubar Das took cognizance of the reported act of corruption done by the personal assistant to Health Minister Ramchandra Chandravansi and ordered for his removal on Sunday.
The CM reviewed the matter in the morning and after considering it grievous acted swiftly. The media reports quoted conversation between the Heath Minister’s PA Styendra Narayan Singh and a Civil Surgeon who was suspended and wanted to be reinstated. Acting on the direction of the CM the Minister has immediately removed his PA.
The CM also directed the Principal Secretary of the Health Department for taking action against the Civil Surgeon for offering bribe and to file a criminal case for that act. Raghubar Das has also appealed to the people to help the Government to deal with corruption and not to get involved or help people indulged in such immoral practices. He also reminded officials for not getting influence from the activities of corrupt persons.
