PNS

The staffs of Hazaribagh Municipal Council are on strike now-a-days. Their demand is to clear their salary before Dusshera. It is noteworthy here that the salary of municipal staff is pending since last more than a year.

Due to this strike and continuous rain, entire town has turned into a basket of decaying garbage. Bad smell, increase in the number of mosquitoes and other insects have made the life of the denizens hard these days.

Hazaribagh Chamber of Commerce has sent a letter to the CM to immediately intervene in this matter and to arrange money for payment of salary for the staffs of municipal council.

Meanwhile chairman municipal council Anjali Kumari, ward councilors and officials are trying their best to end the strike. Council is ready to pay salary of four months to its regular staffs and two months salary to contractual staffs. The association has disapproved this proposal and is demanding atleast 4 months salary to regular and contractual staffs which is not possible as per the present economic status of the council.
