PNS

JPCC president cum Finance and Food and Civic Supply Minister, Dr. Rameshwar Oraon has said that the Central government's slogan of One Nation, One Vaccine has completely failed and all responsibilities have been left to the State governments as the situation worsens. He said that this attitude of the Central Government would lead to an additional expenditure of Rs 4800 Cr on a backward State like Jharkhand. Due to this financial burden it is bound to have an impact on other development operations.

He also demanded the Central Government to provide a special package in this hour of crisis, along with the prompt payment of the arrears of coal and water dues to the Central Public Enterprises. Oraon was talking to journalists in the control room set up at the party office in Ranchi to help the Corona infected people and their families.

Oraon said that India was the first in the world to make a vaccine, for which the country feels proud, but today India is completely lagging behind in the work of vaccination. People were hopeful that all the citizens of the country would get the vaccine for free, but now the Central government is trying to turn its back on it. He said that the Central government has made a provision of Rs 35,000 crore for vaccination, and said that this amount can be increased if needed. He said that the Central government has asked people from 18 to 45 years to take the vaccine at their expense, about 1.47 million people of this age group live in the State, out of which about 25 lakh people would have got the vaccine at their own expense. Even then, the State government will have to bear additional expenses of Rs 4800 crore at the rate of Rs 400 to give vaccines to 1 crore 20 lakh people.

Dr. Oraon said that the pace of spread of the corona infection was slow for three months, during which the State government tried to move forward to speed up the development works by formulating an action plan, when the situation became catastrophic due to sudden infection. He said that there is a shortage of injections and oxygen in the state, there is no shortage of beds. The Central government should provide special support to Jharkhand at this time.

Apart from medical counseling, other facilities are being provided to the people making calls through the helpline under the leadership of Dr. P. Nayyar, President of the State Congress Health Department.

State Congress Committee spokesperson Alok Kumar Dubey said that 54 people from across the State were provided help for the third day today through the control room of the Relief and Monitoring Committee. Due to the failure of the BJP government, there has been a shortage of oxygen, remedies, vaccines and ventilators, the entire country is suffering the punishment of the negligence of the BJP, on the other hand the government has announced an example of free vaccination and presented an example, the State Congress The committee welcomes the free vaccination of the Chief Minister and the State government.

State Congress Committee spokesperson Lal Kishorenath Shahdev has demanded the Central government to immediately make a decision to provide free vaccines to all the poor, so that the spread of infection can be curbed.

He said that if the vaccine was not made available to the poor at this time, it would be difficult to stop the spread of infection.

In the control room, Keshav Mahato Kamlesh, executive president of the State Congress Committee, spokesperson Alok Kumar Dubey, Lal Kishore Nath Shahdev, Amulya Neeraj Khalkho, Kumar Raja, Sunny Toppo, Surendra Singh, Umar Khan were also present.

State Congress Committee President Dr. Rameshwar Oraon will hold a virtual meeting with District Presidents on Saturday to provide medical help in corona infection.
