In a duty evasion matters Central Excise sleuths conducted raid and seizure operations in the premises of Electrosteel Steels limited (ESl) on Friday.
A ten member team of Central Excise sleuths from Dhanbad office conducted raid at 11 am at ESl’s Siyaljori offices and plant at Bokaro, informed PRO of ESl.
Huge number of incriminating documents related to finance including others were detected while needful documents have been sized, added the official.
ESl a green field project at Siyaljori in Bokaro is 2.51 million tonne steel plant, designed and built by the Chinese steel major laiwu Steel Group limited (lSGl). This is the first green field project with the Chinese technology started it production in the end of 2011.
