Central Coalfields limited has organised a felicitation ceremony of Gopal Singh, Chairman-cum-Managing Director, CCl whose name has been recommended as Chairman and Managing Director in National Mineral Development Corporation ltd at Vichar Manch, CCl Headquarters on Thursday. On 1st July, 15, the Public Enterprises Selection Board (PESB) has conducted interview for the post of CMD in NMDC ltd in which persons from different companies participated. The PESB has recommended the name of Gopal Singh as Chairman and Managing Director in NMDC ltd.
Gopal Singh expressed his sincere gratitude to all employees and in his motivational speech said that in the ongoing current fiscal, the company has performed remarkably in all physical parameters and become number one coal company in the country. He said that company has been performing better in the fields of CSR and the company has gain trust of the people. He urged the employees that this momentum of growth should be continued in future. In the current ongoing FY 2015-16, the company has registered 27 % growth in coal production in comparison to last financial year and 24% growth in OBR in comparison to last fiscal.
