Sai Nath University Celebrates R-Day
Republic Day 2018 was celebrated by all students and staff of Sai Nath University, Jirawar, Ormanjhi with gusto. Pro Chancellor Prof (Dr) SP Agarwal hoisted the National Flag followed by National Anthem by a group of students and expressed his good wishes to all faculty members, students, administrative staff and group ‘D’ staff and justified the reason as to why this Day is celebrated all over the country in brief.
Ranchi DRM unfurls tricolour
Divisional Rail Manager of Ranchi Rail Division Vijay Kumar Gupta on Friday hoisted the tricolour at Durga Puja Maidaan in Hatia and presided over the parade by the Railway Police Force, Railway Police Force Band and Scouts and Guides, Civil Defense and John Ambulance on Friday. Gupta addressing the gathering in December 2017, maximum loading was done by Ranchi Rail Division so far in a month with 238.19 wagons per day.

R-Day Celebration in SAIl
The 69th Republic Day was celebrated in SAIl Units at Ranchi with traditional gaiety and lot of enthusiasm. Kamakshi Raman, ED (HRD) in presence of R. K .Tripathy, ED, SSO, Dr. BB Agrawal,GM, RDCIS, S. Mitra, CET and senior officials and employees at SAIl Units at Ranchi, hoisted the national flag at 7.30 am. Raman on the this occasion said that the constitution has given us provisions of rights to adorn our lives; however we should discharge our fundamental duties also equally. She encouraged the employees to improve upon quality of steel to make SAIl globally more competitive. Also, on this occasion national flag hoisting was done by Ispat Mahil Samaj at SAIl Satellite Township.
R-Day at Mecon
The 69th Republic Day was celebrated with gaiety and fervor at MECON Stadium. The celebration commenced with the customary unfurling of the National flag by Atul Bhatt, Chairman & Managing Director, MECON followed by the National Anthem. To mark the occasion, P K Sarangi, Director (Technical), Goutam Chatterjee, Director (Commercial) and Salil Kumar, Director (Project), MECON were also present along with other eminent dignitaries. Bhatt, CMD MECON spoke about the sanctity of the occasion and paid homage to the martyrs, whose sacrifices have led to the making of a free and democratic nation.
R-Day at CCl
Gopal Singh, Chairman, Coal India ltd / CMD, CCl hoisted the tricolor at Mahatma Gandhi Krindangan, Gandhinagar, Ranchi to mark 69th Republic Day. Singh also addressed a gathering including employees, student, union representatives, doctors and others at Mahatma Gandhi Kridangan, Gandhinagar Colony, Ranchi on the occasion. Chairman, in his address, touched on a range of topics including the Constitution of India came into effect on 26th January, 1950 making India one of the most populous democracies of the world.

CMD, HEC Abhijeet Ghosh in the presence of several staffs and dignitaries hoisted tricolor at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium, HEC. To mark the occasion, three platoons of Central Industrial Security Forces including HEC Sector 3 High School students presented the Guard of Honour.

Employees of United Bank of India celebrated the 69th Republic Day at its Regional Office located at Sujata. Chief Regional Manager, Sudhir Kumar Sinha hoisted the national flag in the presence of staffs and others.

Junior Chamber International (JCI) members celebrated Republic Day at laabed village. On the occasion, the members pledged to transform the village in several ways like ensuring sanitation, education etc. Notably, the organization had adopted the village nine years ago.
