CCl once again showed its mettle and claimed two runner up prizes of National Safety Awards( Mines), 2012 for two of its mines namely Ray-Bachra Colliery and Bokaro Colliery under lowest Injury Frequency Rate Cat-2 and lowest Injury Frequency Rate Cat-3 respectively. President of India Pranab Mukherjee felicitated the awardees on March 20 in a ceremony organized by Ministry of labour & Employment at Vigyaan Bhawan, New Delhi.
The prizes for the above categories of National Safety Awards ( Mines), 2012 were received by Chaubey, Project Officer and the workmen inspector of Ray-Bachra Colliery and S.M.Sinha, Manager and Ajit Kumar, O/M of Bokaro Colliery respectively. Gopal Singh, CMD, CCl and Sumit Ghosh, CGM(S&R) also ensured their presence in the occasion to appreciate and boost the morale of the CCl awardees to further their good work.
