The Jharkhand High Court on Monday asked the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) to file investigation details against IAS officers involved in the multi-crore money laundering scam involving former Chief Minister Madhu Koda and his Cabinet colleagues.
A division bench of Chief Justice Prakash Tatia and Justice Jaya Roy was hearing the Interlocutory Petition (IA) filed by anti-corruption activist Durga Oraon seeking probe into involvement of secretary and personal secretary of the then CM in the case.
"The court seeks details of the investigation conducted against IAS officers who were involved in the case and has asked what action has been taken against the then personal secretary and secretary of Koda," said advocate Rajeev Kumar. CBI is to file status report in the next 20 days, added Kumar.
An Interlocutory petition had been filed on June 10, 2013 before the Jharkhand High Court seeking probe into the role played by the secretary and personal secretary of Koda in the scam.
