On the occasion of Gandhi Jayanti, several programmes were organised at block ground in the presence of Welfare Minister louis Marandi, DC Bhuvnesh Pratap Singh and BJP district head Rajmohan Ram.
On the occasion, the Minister said, “We have to make the State clean. We should follow the path of Mahatma Gandhi based on Satyagrah.”
DC Bhuvnesh Pratap Singh informed about cleanliness programmes running in the district and the cooperation done by the women wings. The women wings were also given cheques. On the occasion a football match was also organised. All the people took cleanliness oath.
