Now wearing jeans and sports shoes has been banned for the executives at Bokaro Steel Plant (BSL), the management has introduced a dress code for them.
The management has asked his executives to be in ‘formal dresses’ as uniform in the office; the order will be implemented from April, 22 informed MK Dhan, COC, BSL.
According to the official order, Jeans and Sports shoes are banned in the office for the executives. All of them have to attend office in a light gray formal shirt, black colour trousers, black belt and Navy blue colour tie (optional), he said. Females have to wear light gray Sarees or Salwar with black blouse.
With a motive to create a new working culture in the office new dress code has been introduced. All the executives must attend their offices in the prescribed official uniforms form April 22, he said.
"We assured that this new dress code will bring transparency and discipline in working culture," he said.
