A meeting of union representatives was organised with Amarendu Prakash, Director-in-charge of BSL. In the meeting, on behalf of BSL, Executive Director (Projects and Personnel and Administration) R Kushwaha, Executive Director (Materials Management) VK Pandey, Executive Director (Finance and Accounts) DK Saha, Executive Director (Operations) Atanu Bhowmick , Chief General Manager (Personnel) Pawan Kumar and other officers of the Personnel Department were present following the social distancing.
The meeting was attended by BN Choubey, General Secretary of BSW (INTUC), RP Singh, General Secretary (AITUC), BD Prasad, Joint General Secretary of IMM (CITU), Rajendra Singh, General Secretary, KIMS (HMS), BSRMS (BMS) V Kumar, General Secretary of JJMS, BK Chaudhary, General Secretary of JJMS and Sangram Singh, General Secretary of KIMS (SS) were present.
Prakash, while addressing the union representatives, informed about the priorities of the plant, the present scenario of the steel industry and future plans. Underlining the challenges related to Covid-19 and the priorities related to plant and township, called for everyone's participation for the progress of BSL.
Union representatives present during the discussion also gave their views on the plant, Bokaro General Hospital, township, labor related issues and other important topics and gave suggestions for improvement.
