A swearing-in ceremony was organized on the premises of the administrative building of Bokaro Steel Plant as part of the mass movement campaign launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi for awareness on Covid-19. On this occasion, Amarendu Prakash, Director-in-Charge of Bokaro Steel Plant, Dr. A.K.Singh, Director-in-Charge (Medical and Health Services), Executive Director (Projects and Personnel and Administration), Rajeev Kushwaha, Executive Director (Materials Management) V.K. Pandey, Executive Director (Finance & Accounts) DK Saha, Executive Director (Operations) Atanu Bhowmik and other officers and personnel were present following the social distancing.
Amarendu Prakash, Director-in-charge of Bokaro Steel Plant, administered the oath to the officials and personnel present at the event for rescue and awareness from Covid-19.
It is noteworthy that several precautionary steps have been taken by Bokaro Steel Management to prevent Covid-19. Through posters, banners, hoardings and social media, workers are constantly being made aware of it. Awareness program called Corona Abhigyan is also being organized by the team of Occupational Health Center in various departments of the plant.
